His work often collects elements of the context and space in which it is presented. Usually in the form of interventions, it operates physical displacement or transfer in events and/or other elements linked to a particular place, thus focusing on the spectator\'s time experience. By the existence of a use protocol for a given element (vehiculed for instance by the presence of objects or actors), it proposes the visitor/spectator with a further consciousness and awareness of himself and his conditions in time-space-context.

André Guedes has taken part in several individual and collective exhibitions, as well as in other events, both in Portugal and abroad. In 2007, he received the Award União Latina de Artes Plásticas.
